πŸ“° Redesign for AdLatina News Platform

UI Design

UI Design

🏒 Company Overview

AdLatina is a major news site for the marketing and advertising industry in Latin America. The client needed a visual refresh to modernize the platform and improve usability on both desktop and mobile.

🎯 Objective

Redesign the platform’s UI to modernize its look and feel, improve readability, and ensure responsive usability across desktop and mobile.

🧩 My Role

UI Designer – I was responsible for the complete redesign and delivery of both responsive prototypes and a component system.

πŸ” Process

  • Brief & Collaboration:
The project was initiated through a university professor who served as both the developer and liaison with the client. I held several meetings with him to define priorities, align expectations, and ensure technical feasibility.

  • Design & Prototyping:
I created a new interface for both desktop and mobile, focusing on content hierarchy, clarity, and visual consistency. I delivered mid- and high-fidelity designs, along with an interactive Figma prototype that simulated real navigation.

  • Design System:

Built a component library in Figma to support consistency and scalability for ongoing development.

✨ Outcome

The redesign was fully implemented and is still live. It improved the site’s visual identity and user experience, especially in terms of article navigation and mobile accessibility.
